WHY GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR?

There are many reasons that people seek chiropractic care.  Often it is for relief from neuro-musculo-skeletal problems (sometimes called “pinched nerves”) like back pain, neck, arm, shoulder, sciatica, leg or sacroiliac pain.  Many times “pinched nerves” cause not only pain, but numbness and tingling or a pins-and-needles feeling in the fingers or toes.  Sometimes a persons head seems too heavy or lights bother their eyes.

Many people come to our office for relief from conditions such as headaches or migraines, menstrual cramps, arthritis, nervous tension, jaw pain, or dizziness.  Others come to enhance athletic performance, or because they’re athletic performance caused an injury.

Although most people first go to the chiropractor because of a specific health problem, after they see all of the benefits chiropractic has to offer they schedule periodic visits to simply maintain their

spinal alignment and optimize their health.  We all have the oil changed in our cars on a regular basis to ensure that it will continue to run well and prevent engine damage – why not take the same care of our bodies?

Why go to a chiropractor?  Because having a healthy spinal column makes good common sense.  If you’re sick you should go to strengthen your natural healing ability.  If you’re feeling fine you should remember that spinal nerve stress (vertebral subluxations) are painless but affect your health nonetheless.  You and your family should get your spines checked periodically to make sure you’re living free from hidden spinal nerve stress so you’re functioning at your fullest.
