| Ellen Purser, D.C.
Dr. Purser was born in San Jose, and grew up in Milpitas, CA. She graduated from high school at the age of sixteen and graduated from Chico State University with degrees in recreational therapy and psychology. For the next seven years she worked for the State of California social services. For several years she worked in the health food industry, first for Padma Marketting, then as the executive director for the Association for the Promotion of Herbal Healing. After attending the Buddist Institutes in Tucson AZ and Berkeley she spent two years traveling in India and Nepal and Southeast Asia. She was accepted to WSCC in 1987 and completed the four year program in three years. graduating in 1990 as a co-salutorian summa cum laude with the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She has been trained in Diversified, BEST, SOT, and sacral cranial techniques. |
Michael C. Jones, D.C.
Dr. Jones was born in Boise, ID and grew up on a dairy farm. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1971, attended Boise State College (now Boise State University) and then spent two years in Chile in South America. He then graduated from Rick's College (now BYU-Idaho) in 1976 with an associate degree in health science having been awarded the outstanding health science student award prior to graduation. He was accepted into the physical therapy program at Eastern Washington State College (now Eastern Washington University) in 1977. The PT program at EWU was closed by the legislature later that year due to funding restrictions. He then farmed with his father-in-law for the next ten years until he decided to return to school. After completing the required science courses at Bellevue Community College and Mount Hood Community College, he was accepted at WSCC and completed the four year program in three years, graduating in Aug. 1990 with the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Since that time, he has taken various chiropractic techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, Activator, SOT, Cox flexion/distraction, Nimmo, TBM, and various post graduate radiology seminars. He uses diagnostic muscle testing as a tool in determining what level of the spine is not functioning at your optimum level and then corrects that region of the spine. |
